LDH Recycling Project

Lovely Disabled Home (LDH) organized a recycling project monthly and invited us to help and volunteer for the recycling project. Our club volunteered to help to collect recyclable items around the housing area and sort out the recyclable items into categories of paper, cans, and glass.

Street Feed

The street feed project is an initiative by Leo Club of Taylor's University organized to bring food for the homeless people in Kuala Lumpur. This has not been the first time since this initiative was approached and it has been the sixth series recently.

Help The Blind

Help the blind project is an initiative where Leo Club of Taylor's University visited the Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB) and volunteer for social service work there. During this project, the leos volunteered and helped to mark labels on papers for the blind, clean and tidy their library, and other work that needed our help.

Diabetes Check-Up x Box of Love

The diabetes check-up project is an initiative organized by Leo Club of Taylor's University. This project aimed to provide a free glucose test check-up for the elder people in an old folk home. Our club invited two students from the medical society to help with the blood pressure test and a pharmacist to help with the glucose test. It was our first initiative on this project and we hope that this could be follow up in the future.

In conjunction with the diabetes check-up project, our club also participated in a district project called "Box of love". We prepared a total of 20 boxes filled with bread, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste, biscuits, and tissues. These boxes were given to the elder people living there. Through this project, we were able to see the smile from the elderly's face and they were truly thankful to us.
Dental Check-Up

The dental check-up project is the first initiative organized by the Leo Club of Taylor's University. Our club has invited the dentist from Pong Family Dental Clinic and brought the children from Shelter Home to visit and do a dental check-up for them. Although this project was not under the 5 main key areas, however, we think that it is a good initiative that could be done again in the future.
Field Trip

The Leo Club of Taylor's University organized a field trip by bringing the children from an orphanage to visit to the bird park in Kuala Lumpur. The children were very lively and happy during the trip when they were walking around the bird park and seeing the fascinating view.
Memotivation
